Oceana Resorts is a collection of 9 properties in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach including oceanfront resorts, hotels and a waterway condominium, featuring pools, beach access, comfort and affordability. Oceana Resorts uses the TravelClick channel manager which does not offer a direct integration to Airbnb, HomeAway and TripAdvisor.

THE CHALLENGE:
Oceana wanted to increase the distribution and exposure of their multi-unit properties in Myrtle Beach on non-traditional hotel platforms such as Airbnb and HomeAway/Vrbo but didn’t have the technology to connect seamlessly to these channels.
THE SOLUTION:
Use Jetstream, the all-in-one solution for multi-unit properties, to connect Oceana to Airbnb, HomeAway/Vrbo, and Trip Advisor to reach a wider audience and increase bookings and exposure on non-traditional online travel websites.

THE RESULTS:
Jetstream connected all nine resorts to Airbnb, HomeAway/Vrbo, TripAdvisor and leavetown.com with their revolutionary distribution technology, optimized the listings, processed all bookings and payments, and provided guest support. Oceana Resorts went live January, 2017.

Providing a seamless connection to vacation rental marketplaces resulted in Oceana reaching wider audiences that seek longer stays than those traditionally booked on hotel sites like Booking.com and Expedia. Oceana was kind enough to share comparative data between two of the Large OTA's average length of stay and booking lead time versus the bookings that have come from the vacation rental marketplaces reached via Jetstream.
- The average length of stay of Jetstream bookings is 65% longer than those from the two Large OTA's. A significant increase in booking duration which has helped Oceana reduce room turn-over costs

- The average lead time between booking and check-in is 60% longer for Jetstream bookings
