On April 10th, Sabre announced the launch of their new guest-centric solution on the SynXis Enterprise Platform.
For those unaware, SynXis is one of the top hotel property management systems in the world, with 4,000 properties and counting in its fold. The cloud-based system has been upgraded to provide a more unified picture of guest profile data from customers who book directly with a given property. Simply put, hoteliers and their staff will be better prepared to interact with guests, and have access to deeper insights as to why they’re staying at the property, be it for business or pleasure. For the Sabre organization, this marks a big step towards further global market growth.
Today, we are pleased to announce that our software team have produced a first ever feat of its kind. We have now made it possible for the SynXis property management system to connect directly to Airbnb. Jetstream has developed the world’s first technology which allows boutique hotels and resorts to seamlessly list and maintain the availability for each and every unit on Airbnb and other vacation rental sites such as HomeAway, VRBO and Flipkey.
Airbnb + Boutique Hotels + Global Marketing Opportunity
Earlier this year, Airbnb issued its own industry shaking press release, announcing that they would now welcome hotels onto their network. This shift provides an incredible opportunity for hotels looking to expand their reach globally. Hotels now have the opportunity to list inventory on the fastest growing vacation accommodation booking site in the world.
However, the challenge for hotels and resorts is that Airbnb is structured for a single property, listing and calendar. That means a hotel would have to dedicate a significant amount of resource hours to add a redundant number of units to the site, and manage all of the individual bookings, fees, communications, and interactions that come along with each. It can be cumbersome to say the least, … but not for hoteliers on SynXis.
The unique advantage that SynXis users have with Jetstream is that they can connect their entire inventory, or just select portions of their inventory to Airbnb without doing any heavy lifting. What’s more, Jetstream’s team of travel marketing experts do all of the listing optimization and guest support so that your property achieves optimum reach amongst global travellers.
Using Jetstream, boutique hotels and resort managers can now effortlessly market their inventory on Airbnb and reach a global audience. Learn more about how it works. Contact us anytime to gain an edge over the competition.
